By saramyriadWow, I finally updated my theme. It only took what, six years?
I honestly struggled to move away from my other theme because it’s so open and clean, but I wanted something a little more poppy and modern. I love the way the boxes contain everything. I blame my brief obsession with bullet journaling.
I’ve been threatening to change things up, anyway. So here’s a rundown of the new:
- First, I updated my About Me with a little more information (not a ton, I want to be open, but I can still be goth about it), and a fun new photo.
- A pink/purple combo. Is it based on my water tumbler? HMMM MAYBE.
- New “author” photo and tiny little bio because those circle pictures make me happy.
- Cleaner Search, Recent Posts, and Archives sections.
- A Story widget because social media is something I try to avoid, but I kind of miss IG stories, so maybe this will scratch that itch?
- The comments are turned back on! Yeah, I couldn’t figure out for the life of me how to turn them back on via the mobile editor, so I had to get on a desktop but kept putting it off because I’ve been busy and it hasn’t been a priority.
- A “You Missed” section at the bottom with my most recent posts, just so I can harass you with them again.
- There’s finally a scroll button that will take you back up to the top of the page.
